Frequently Asked Questions
When can I make deposits?
You can submit deposits online anytime. Deposits made before 9 p.m. will be credited to your account the same day and your funds will typically be available the next business day.
What do I need?
All you need is a myLSNB user ID and password, an LSNB Checking, Savings or Money Market account and a scanner or multi-function printer. And, of course, a check.
What can be deposited?
Any U.S. check, money order, traveler’s check, cashier’s check or U.S. Treasury check may be deposited with this service.
What kind of scanner do I need?
Any scanner or multi-function printer that uses the industry standard TWAIN software will work with our system.
What can’t be deposited?
U.S. Savings Bonds, items drawn on foreign institutions (including Mexican items), and cash cannot be submitted with this service. These must be deposited at a LSNB financial center.
How do I prepare my checks?
Just sign the back like you normally would, and be sure to add the account number for the account you’re depositing into and the phrase ”For Deposit Only.”
When will the money be available?
For deposits submitted before 9 p.m., your deposit will be processed the same day and funds will typically be available the next business day. Deposits submitted after 9 p.m., or on weekends, will be processed at the start of the next business day and credited the day after that.
What do I do with my checks after depositing?
It’s important that you keep your original checks for a reasonable period of time, but for at least 10 business days. Rarely, you may have to present the original check at a LSNB financial center to complete the transaction or for other reasons. You are responsible for keeping all original checks. After the reasonable period of time, you are also responsible for destroying the original checks.
How much does this service cost?
It is free for myLSNB customers.
